Or they punt on this mediocre class and look at 2019 (Melo, Klay Thompson, Kemba Walker)

And if they don't have an AS, oh well. Is it really that big of a deal? Ideally you'd like one when you host but its happened before (Denver in 2005, Atlanta in 2003)

Is there another melo or is the famous one really still somebody teams would want to sign in 2019? How old is he, 35?

Duh Fab Melo

So the Bulls are doing pretty well in the L column of the NBA standings. Only Dallas has a worse record than us right now. I can't tell if Dallas is genuinely this bad or is tanking hard? I'm pretty sure they're tanking because M. Cuban admitted that's what they would try to do once they became mediocre and/or bad. I feel bad for D. Nowitzki, but honestly he's just not that good anymore.

This upcoming draft isn't that deep in impact talent so the Bulls really need to land a top-3 pick.

I'm thrilled with any of Doncic, Porter, Ayton, or Bagley. Will be fine with Bamba too.

I'm really hoping to add some picks by taking on bad contracts. I'm thinking they'll have some nice opportunities over the next month or two.

Do you still want Porter after he gets an artificial hip?

Loaded question. He'd still be better than all but 2 current Bulls.

Markkanen wasn't involved much in the second half, but finished with 16 and 7. Dunn had a hell of a game, going 22, 5, and 7. Only 1 TO too. He's probably going to flash enough to where he could be a low end starting PG. I guess there's a slight hope he can be more than that, at this point.

But, they won.

I'm all in on M. Bagley and think he's the best player and has highest ceiling. I wish he wasn't playing for Duke, but whatever man. The problem I have with L. Doncic is that the scouting reports claim he's a good athlete, but not an amazing athlete.

His future position is either SG or point/small forward. Maybe he's part of the new breed of super big PGs? Anyway, when was the last time a European player came over and was super dominant at SG/SF? Usually impact European talents are big men like the Gasol brothers, Nowitzki, Jokic, R. Gobert, A. Sabonis back in the day, etc.

Sure, the 'Greek Freak' is technically European, but he's a world class athlete and his parents are from Nigeria. I can't think of too many European players at SF/SG that have developed into impact players...

Great tank W. Lauri with 26 and 13. Dunn had 17, 6, and 6.

love it

won't be much longer before lavine is back too, right? maybe 3ish weeks?

Yeah, but I'm OK with them milking this as long as possible lol. I am looking forward to seeing him play though.

Yeah, probably the worst shooting game of the season for him. Didn't hit double digits until 2 minutes left. Did grab 14 boards though. Love that he's a pretty rounded player at 20. Finds a way to contribute.

Dunn started, but went 5-14, with 4 boards, 6 assists, and 4 TO's. Gonna be some ups and downs.....

Still, those 2 are making this season interesting.

Blakeney went off in his first run tonight. I'd be just fine giving him 25-30 minutes a game until LaVine comes back.
