Dusty: "This has been my most productive lineup"

Then why did you wait for Game 4 to use it?

Even if it mattered, which it doesn't, what are the odds that is statistically correct?

In one sense it is, that was the everyday lineup during the first half when they were killing the ball. Of course, it's the same 8 guys he's been playing, so he's implying that they'll be more productive with Werth getting more PA's for some reason.

16 fastballs to start

I love it. They're not going to take you deep so establish the fastball early and then start throwing the offspeed stuff second time through. I wouldn't mind if he went 100% fastballs to all of the first 9

Good thing that was Jayson Werth and not a professional major league hitter.

Jake is leaving everything up it looks like

Against everyone except maybe Harper, he needs to attack the strike zone. Everything in the air is just going to die, keep the pitch count down and don't give out any free passes (controlling the running game is trickier on a day like this).

Complex analysis, I know.

I know they had decent seasons, but it makes me irrationally upset when Turner, Wieters, or Taylor get a hit, or get on base, or make the pitcher throw more than 3 pitches.

There's a big difference between attacking the strike zone on a favorable day and whatever the horsefeathers that pitch to Taylor was.

I think we'll be fine, but neither of them have command of anything, it looks like
