I see 87 consistently. At his peak last year he would occasionally scrape 90-91 but sat in the 88-89 range I believe

he'll get back to 90 come playoff time. kyle is smart enough that he's treating the rest of this regular season like spring training and building up arm strength without overdoing it before the playoffs.

 

in the meantime he's just toying around with new strategies and possibly creating a brand new pitch. he probably wrote a peer reviewed article about it this weekend in his free time.
