Benavides is actually their 1st base coach. Luis Castillo is pitching for them, but not the ex Marlin and Met that dropped that pop up vs the Yankees.

 

Hendricks gets his first W since returning from the DL.

Castillo is pretty good. Lots of velocity and swing and miss so I anticipate a verrrrry strong idiot presence early on as the Cubs strike out a few times before his pitch count catches up to him and they dong him around the 5th.

The 5th place in their division 49-70 Reds have a higher elimination number (31) than the 2nd place in their division 66-52 Rockies (28).
