Of course it's raining in Atlanta. As I said yesterday, I'm stunned they didn't build a park with a roof.

This is one of the rainiest summers across the South in recent memory. We haven't had a day without rain since May it seems.

Indeed. I'm not enjoying having to cut my yard twice a week.

It certainly couldn't have been for money reasons, they could've gotten more money from the County. That was one of the worst public funded deals ever

I've probably gone to 20 games over the years in Atlanta and it's always just a miserable experience. Either it's blazing hot or it's wet or it's wet AND hot, which is of course the worst. Other than the couple of playoff games I've been to there, I've never been to a Braves game that was packed out and I'm pretty sure a large part of that is due to just how uncomfortable it is most of the time.

The house next door has been vacant since Katrina and the backyard is overrun by kudzu, which means it creeps up into my backyard. I have never had to fight it like this year. We live in a tropical effing rainforest.

The radar in Atlanta is defying logic.

Seriously. Pretty clear except for right over top the stadium, and the cell is just sitting there freaking slowly growing. It is just now looking like its starting to die down, though.

On the plus side, it allowed me to see Harrison tie the game in milwaukee. Maybe we'll take over first a day sooner now.

If they don't start soon this is going to cut into Lackey's 4th meal

the 4th meal is raccoons

The delay is because Ian has to go catch them with his bare hands first.

Happ and Lackey on the same roster is some Alien v Predator stuff.

10pm local start time with a game scheduled for 12:10pm local start the next day? Or would they push tomorrows game?

That would make logical sense but it's MLB, so probably

not
