We are close to halfway through the season and the offense just continues to be middle of the road. Considering all the resources we've spent on hitter it's a bit disappointing.

Like half of the team is injured. And one of our top bats sucked hard for three months and is now in AAA.

Also, they've been much better in June, despite the injuries. And one of the reasons they are good is because they can play defense, too.

I joined a league recently and half of my team hasn't played baseball in 15-30 years. It's high-arc and they pile up the Ks. It's pretty brutal to be a part of.
