I'm tired of his 0-4, BB, 2K games....need him to get right against AAA pitching for 3-4 weeks and reset, come back up with confidence to rake the rest of the season. We don't need his bat to win games now but we will in October. It makes sense on too many levels as sad as it may be

Yes, let's send down Addy and Almora too!

And Arrieta. And Willson.

Guessing Jake is out of options so as a bonus he will become a FA early and we can replace him with Montgomery in the rotation. Anyone else we can shove down there?

Also we haven't scored a run since Anchorman dress up so its confirmed a bad movie. MADDON TAKE NOTICE.

Step it up, man; the answer is obvious: [glow=red]FIRE MADDON.[/glow]

It goes deeper than that. Theo refused to listen to Bill Walsh's advice and overstayed his welcome. He needs to find another sad sack franchise to tank with for several years.

In all honesty, is it the craziest idea? It's easy to forgot how little MLB experience he actually has. I think we can live with an OF of Happ/Almora/Heyward/Jay/Zobrist for a bit.

Your pondering just confirmed it as ridiculous.

Facing AAA pitching doesn't figure to help him. His main issues so far seem to be elevated high velocity fastballs and horsefeathers luck.

Yeah, Happ has so much MLB experience.

(Lest we forget, Happ is 2 for his last 20 with 11 strikeouts, currently has an overall 36% K rate in the big leagues and had contact problems in the minors.)

Also, Almora should be even more of a platoon player than Schwarber, at least until we have evidence that the defense is truly very good. The metrics continue to not be all that impressed.

Entering today in his career...

Almora vs RHP: .242/.281/.326

Almora vs LHP: .303/.354/.566
