Benzo gets "best cubs hit in history" even though Montero got the game-winner. cold blooded.

Technically Zobrist’s was the game winner.

Technically Montero's was the game winner. Zobrist drove in the 7th run. The Indians then scored in the bottom of the 10th which pulled them even with the run Zobrist drove in.

The Game-winning run batted in, also known as the game-winning RBI and abbreviated GWRBI, was an official baseball statistic from 1981 to 1989. The GWRBI was awarded to the player credited with an RBI on the difference-making run in a game; this is the run which gives a team the lead in a game which it never relinquishes afterwards.

Since the Cubs never lost the lead after Zobrist's RBI, he would be credited with the GWRBI.

I stand corrected. Sports need to get together on their game winning definitions.
