As a team are the Cubs walking a lot less so far this year? Without bothering to do an iota of actually research, it's seems like every game I check to see the walks they maybe manage to draw 1-2 at best.

I checked after like the first 10 games and it was 63-47 from last year to this, but I think they are still walking at a clean rate. I think.

We have the 6th best team BB% in MLB at 10.1% only .5% separates us from the 2nd best team and we have taken the 3rd most walks at 78, which is 4.1 a game.

 

We were at 10.4% and 4.05 a game last year.

Even if it's not true, I'm totally going to pretend Zobrist doesn't get to that.

 

Definitely more adventurous. Heyward made it look like he was taking a walk in the park. He's so smooth out there.
