So will there be a way to access these live streams on MLB.TV or anything like that? I don't want to miss anything good because whoever they have on BBTN these days just had to make some stupid point.

I hope we can impose this here as well.

It still doesn't feel real.

Ok, now it finally feels real.

Wait, no, I was wrong, doesn't feel real yet.

Is rain gonna mess this up?

Based on the forecast, there could be a rain delay, but not a postponement. There's some rain and thunderstorms coming through Oak Park (just west of Chicago) right now. As for later, the thunderstorms are forecast to leave the area after 7:00 PM.

So either this starts late or is moved to tomorrow, right?

either one of those two, or it starts on time tonight.

So starting early is right out then?

The back edge of the rain is already in far eastern Iowa (nearing Dubuque) right now, so I think that the game will be played tonight. A rain delay is definitely a possibility, as the opening ceremonies are scheduled to start at 6:15 PM.

I would bet against it, personally, in my opinion.

Yeah I think worst case we have a delay. Or maybe they hold the ceremonies during thunderstorms. How badass would it be if lightning struck the flag pole right after the banner was uncovered?

Either way, my plan to park west of Damen, walk to the park, check out the park at Wrigley, have a beer and then head in is going to be a lot more miserable. Gonna have to buy a poncho at least. Does the Cubs store sell World Series Champions ponchos?
