I guess it's somewhat ironic that there's only one thing in this that involves that signing class that Freeze is talking about in that tweet. It concerns Austin Golson, an OT who transferred to Auburn, and the allegation is that he hunted two times on the land of a booster, which may be the lamest allegation in NCAA history.

So, what type of penalties are you expecting? USC level?

Lack of Institutional Control and 13 Level One infractions is serious business.

2 year bowl ban plus scholarships. Freeze suspension. I doubt he gets a show cause since he isn't really named in any of this.

Don't forget 4 infractions that go back to Nutt, the gift that keeps on giving.

Always fun punishing players for something that happened when they were eight years old.

Wow Baylor. Something in the water?

The NCAA should be parked in Waco and should have been for the past year, instead they had their top investigators in Oxford for literally 44 months and only uncovered around $20,000 of impermissible benefits. Even if they had uncovered 5 million dollars of impermissible benefits, that would not excuse them from the fact that they've taken no action on Tennessee or Baylor, two athletic departments that covered up multiple rapes and paid off victims. I'd argue that not being prosecuted for rape is one hell of an impermissible benefit.

Time to shut Baylor down. Good grief.

The NCAA says they aren't involved because it doesn't involve extra benefits to the student athletes and should be handled by the law. I would argue that your school covering up your criminal transgressions are a much greater inducement than the proverbial $100 handshake or a free t-shirt or whatever.

Houston Nutt demands an apology from Ole Miss, hints at legal action.

lol that weirdo. Smear campaign? Losing a home game to Jacksonville State and winning 1 SEC game in 2 years is a self inflicted smear campaign, Houston. If the Rebels had somehow miracled their way into a bowl game in his final 2-10 season, it has come out that literally (and that's not the hyperbolic use of the word) half the team would have been academically ineligible. Apology? He should thank Ole Miss for paying him 6 million dollars to piss off.

That's right. LSU took a knee against Ole Miss with 5 minutes left in the game.

And he got $3M to leave Arkansas. The worst.

Bob Stoops retiring effective immediately.

Lincoln Riley is new HC.

Holy horsefeathers. That's a wow.

And quite a gamble to hand the reins to 32-year-old Riley.

Nutt should be sued for misrepresenting himself as a football coach. Dude went 1-15 in the league his last two years.

This is pretty clever. He knows that Ole Miss is currently busy with other much more important things and so he is looking for a quick cash payout, which I assume he'll get.

So, Houston Nutt actually has character to defame?

Who knew?

Interesting how he is blaming Freeze's comments in January 2016 for him not having a coaching job. Well then why did no one hire you between Nov 2011 and Jan 2016, Houston?
