Dislike.

I can be happy about the win without celebrating the man.

You can laugh at the funny picture though

GOD MODE JAKE is going to do the King Kong Bundy equivalent to Cleveland. 10 perfect innings, just because he can. Inning 10 is pitched in his undies.

Win this one and then I like regular rest Hendricks versus short rest x2 and seeing the same lineup for the third time in 9 days Kluber.

I wonder if there is any research into how pitchers perform when going on 3 days rest of the second consecutive game.

I can't even think of too many examples. I know Schilling did this in 2001 and was able to throw 7.1 IP, 2 ER on 103 pitches. And I know the Brewers rode Sabathia like a rented mule down the stretch in 2008 and he actually pitched really well through 3 consecutive starts on 3 days rest before falling apart in his playoff start, also on 3 days rest. But I would think that eventually the work load would catch up to a pitcher and every start on short rest multiples the chances that it happens.

Seriously, the Giants having him, while we have Al horsefeathering Yellon needs to be rectified.

It's a good sentiment too. No one wants to celebrate wins in a series you lose, but its a good feeling to know that this is different than last year or 2003 or the NLDS 3 and outs. We didn't just roll over and die, we've fought back to at least play another day. And when this series is over, even if we somehow lose, I will be able to go back and watch WS highlights over the winter. Last year I don't think I ever went back and watched a single moment of the 2015 NLCS all over again. While it would be ultimately disappointing to lose, it leaves a better taste in your mouth than pretty much every other playoff season the Cubs have had in our lifetime.

But screw that sentimental loser talk; we're winning this.

They've been antagonistic enough towards the Wrigleyville area, they don't want to further alienate them for very little benefit, as cool as it might be to have such a watch party. Beth Murphy might burn Wrigley down herself if they swiped 40,000 customers from the neighborhood.

26 times this year, the Chicago Cubs won at least 2 games in a row.

Some of the pitchers they beat with ease this year, as part of those two+ game win streaks: Jose Fernandez, Chris Sale, Zack Greinke, Gerrit Cole, Max Scherzer, Yu Darvish, Jonny Cueto, Clayton Kershaw. Short rest Josh Tomlin is not as good as these guys. Kyle Schwarber wasn't in the lineup against those guys.

We've got this.

Yep we have shed almost all and any emotional baggage associated with not winning the last century...no more curse talk too
