For a while I thought it was nibbling, but the longer it has gone on, it has become obvious it's a control problem. He pretty much admitted as much himself.

Zobrist has been reliable in the OF, but for some reason he always scares me when he's tracking a flyball. He just doesn't look comfortable (though I am sure he actually is).

Not saying you read too much into two games but seeing his approach is just a reminder that he shouldn't just make zobrist a bench player next year

 

That AB has been pretty atypical this postseason.

Tbh I've thought all along that next year his role should stay an expanded version of the same as this year with Joe picking and choosing his spots. I don't think he's there yet at the plate vs rhp, playoffs aside

That wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, expanding his 2016 role, assuming he continues to improve with the occasional relapse into death swing mode.

 

I do think that they need to expand his role beyond this year's AB total though.
