Another infrequent poster, but this site is my first stop every morning before work.

 

This still hasn't sunk in, and I kept my composure last night. Untill my 10 year old son called, who doesn't really care about sports, but was excited for me. That's when the water works started.

My daughter watched with me, stayed up past bedtime. She didn't understand why the fans were crying, so I tried explaining to her about people like her great grandma that died last year. Then we both ended up crying. I know it's just baseball and a game, but it's also more. If that makes any sense at all.
