I'm in Tiger Stadium watching LSU and Ole Miss and yes I'm in tears. Lots of Cubs fans going nuts. I've spotted about 4 W flags

You went to a college football game on the night of NLCS game 6?

I actually got a little choked up after the final out in Game 4 of the Giants series. Don't know why, but the way that game played out ended up being a little emotional for me. Last night was sheer joy and excitement. Still work to be done, though.

I was ecstatic. Didn't cry, but I'm pretty young so it hasn't been that long of a wait for me.

The last play I jumped up and ran around yelling "THAT SHOULD BE IT THAT SHOULD BE IT THAT SHOULD BE IT" as soon as Puig hit it.

I had a strange feeling of confidence all day yesterday that theCubs would win. The only time I got nervous was when Travis Wood was warming up. I kept it together just fine...until the old ladies in the front row. That got me.

The only time I got a little nervous was when Toles came up for the first AB of the game and immediately ripped that single. I just suddenly pictured the Dodgers with taste for blood and belly-fire behind Kershaw and things seemed a bit precarious. Then Baez immediately negated Toles with yet another great defensive play and I felt great the rest of the way.

i put my head down and cried, honestly it felt like the weight of 03, 04 collapse, and 08 miserable sweep was finally lifted. for a variety of obvious and non-obvious reasons, those three seasons are the ones that really hurt.

That double play was so odd for me. I knew when he hit it, it would be an out, and I went to stand up off my couch for the final out. I don't think my brain even processed that there was a runner on 1st and this could possibly be a double play. It didn't hit me until I saw everyone running toward the mound. Then I collapsed.

I didn't cry at the stadium, but I did when I went to bed that night. I did again when I rematched last night. They were just a few small tears. This morning I woke up and walked into the closet and saw my "Raise the Flag" shirt hanging and I started sobbing loudly.

my eyes have welled up a few times since that night while looking at pics/video of the game but nothing too crazy. i actually remember getting a little more choked up hearing pat's call from the end of the NLDS last year.

i'm sure it'll be next level if/when we finish the job.
