If you would have told me that in games 1 and 2, Lester would have thrown 86 pitches and Hendricks 52, I would have guessed we were in big trouble.

i honestly thought maybe like a couple zip codes around NYC still got columbus day off and that was pretty much it

 

I don't get it but I only get Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Day After, Christmas

The Giants and Cubs have played six times since the start of September, and the Giants are hitting .120, scoring all of 12 runs. And four were scored against Mike Montgomery in a spot start

This is nice. I won't even be nervous for game 3. If we lose, oh well, we still have a better SP going in game 4 (and of course a better team).
