yeah i think the current mets are kind of a huge mess and if they have to burn Thor they're a much inferior team.

 

it doesn't matter much (heck the embarrassing Brewers just beat us 3 out of 4) and I have sworn a sacred vow to not root for any particular playoff match up

 

I feel like with Thor getting pushed back and being scheduled for Tuesday the best case is the Mets win the first WC without having to use him on Sunday and the Giants and Cards tie. That way those two have to play an extra game and the Mets burn Thor in the WC game. Then regardless of which team advances, their best pitcher can't go until Game 3.
