The Cubs are playing the worst team in baseball, at home, and they're facing a 31 year old AAAA SP. I don't understand sports fans.

Did you see Hammel's last start?

I did, and we should have expected it because the start before that he....went 6 strong innings.

Do you realize that this is fortunately a sport where players aren't locked into performing like they did the last game?

so if we lose a Butters start, do we start selling?

I'm not sure there's much of a market for butters out there. He's worth more to us than he would be to anybody trading for him.

We can always try to get them to take Derwood instead.

I've got 10-5 rights, bitches

Yes, I'm sure he'll be just fine now, thanks so much for the info.

Feel like it's been forever since we have had a weekday night game at Wrigley. It's been since that Dodgers series at the beginning of June.

You're a very, very odd person who seems to be trying to not enjoy this as much as possible.

I don't get it. Sports are literally watching people play a silly game. Why the hell let it effect you so much and what's the point in not enjoying things?

Ok which one of you idiots fell onto the field from the bleachers?

So did they crawl into the basket and then fall? I'm having a hard time envision just how this would happen.

uh hopefully that picture was taken immediately after it happened and it's not a picture of people looking at a corpse

The person was moving and was carted off by emergency medical personnel.
