He's possibly assassinated Bryant's knee and hits like he's swinging a rotted seabass for a bat. Rank your hatred for him on a scale of "I hate him a little bit" to "I hope he gets banished to the Phantom Zone and his glass plate prison gets stepped on by an elephant." Edited by Sammy Sofa

Clearly he knows his days are numbered with Fowler coming back, so he's trying to sabotage Bryant like a coward so he can LF.

Sidenote: he went after Bryant instead of Heyward because he's a racist and is terrified of black people and really should be traded to the Cardinals ASAP where they condone such loathsome acts.

Uhh he's hitting really well and the collision was Bryant's fault. This is a really odd thread.

Bryant was nearly stationary.

When the insanely rangey cf calls you off, you get out of the way.

That he has David's support only proves he is an unfeeling machine who will not stop until Bryant is destroyed.

He's somehow responsible for Schwarber, too.

Wait...it's not that Fowler inexplicably wasn't offered a better deal over the Cubs; the reality is the real Fowler is missing and Almora has taken his place. Just wait...Fowler's first game back he's going stagger onto the field after being released by Almora, looking dazed and confused before seeing Almora himself, who coldly does this:

When healthy, Coghlan deserves a spot on this team over Almora right now, IMO.

What? No! Coghlan is awful, and Almora is a GG caliber CF even if he weren't better at the plate.

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic.

I think.

Clearly, you've got amnesia from game threads.

Oh, we apparently got to witness some of his stealthy "sarcasm" today.

What am I missing here? OK, he ran into KB. Even if he's technically correct, I guess I get a bit of ridicule. But this much, that seems to extend beyond that play too? Huh. If I'm in the minority, so be it......But he's impressing me. The D is as advertised. The bat has some work to do, but I can see him putting up a .700-.750 OPS. I like him. Quite a bit, really.

I like to imagine Almora has been running 110% on every lazy popup and stealing catches from infielders and outfielders alike for years and we just haven't been exposed to it yet. Like, its 'his thing' and his teammates all kind of hate him for it but now that he almost killed Bryant, he didn't sleep at all last night because Rizzo forced him to watch Tom Emanski videos Clockwork Orange style. Or something. But I like to think that he's fixed now and won't run into stationary teammates again.

“We’re both trying to catch that ball,” Almora said. “As a center fielder, I feel like if it drops it’s on me. It’s a baseball play, it really is. We’re both trying to win. He was obviously right there under it, and I didn’t hear him. I should’ve probably looked. In that situation, we were winning the game, and that drop in could change the momentum and I just didn’t want it to happen.

“It was really unfortunate. Obviously I didn’t want to hurt my brother. He’s going to be one of my witnesses at my wedding in a couple weeks. I came in after the game, and I tried to find him. He’s doing all right. I gave like 15,000 hugs I think, and I apologized every time. He’s good, thank god.”

OK - I like him a lot more now.
