9 ER in his last 2 starts. Probably had 9 ER in the second half last year.

 

I guess whatever magical fix they had for Jake hasn't taken effect yet.

What's the story with Heyward's swing again? Was it a wrist injury earlier in his career that made him change his swing that sapped his power?

Sure would be nice to see Heyward occasionally make hard contact.

I wonder at what point we drop him in the lineup?

 

Montero and his sub .200 BA is still batting 6th, so I don't know there is a point where it's going to happen.

That pitch was too close to take and probably a strike. I know Bryant couldn't have done much with it but wish he'd have swung

I can't help it. I feel frustrated and cranky right now.

 

That's why I'm glad I have been mostly not able to watch the last few games. Slightly less annoying following on At bat than actually watching our guys suck

haven't heard anything of the sort...if the story is what i think you're referring to, we've been trying to tap into his power and get him hitting it in the air more.
