It's OK, everyone. It's never, ever as fun watching a game when the other team is controlling the action. But good God remember just a few years ago when the other team ALWAYS controlled the action?

 

I am happy with what we have for a team.

 

Or as Rondon Fan likes to call them, "The Good Ol' Days."

The naysayers with their doom boners don't make cause me anything but confusion. I've waited my whole life for a team this good and when I see people that just horsefeathers on the team during every game that goes poorly I can't grasp it. This is a team to be enjoyed because none of us have cheered for one this good, ever.

I can answer this as I have this type of personality. It's a defense mechanism, a way to handle disappointing stuff by "expecting" it. Not a good way to go.

Baseball has been not fun the last week or so. It will resume being fun, and will remain fun for most of the season, but its not fun right now.

Dude I'm a Cubs and Buffalo Bills fan. I know the sky is falling thought process, but once I started watching the games without the edge of everything is going wrong I've really started to enjoy sports more than I ever have. But I know where the doom and gloom comes from. Even with that said this team is still on pace for 114 wins this season with a 7 game lead. Enjoy it even when they're not making a mockery of the league.

Your right, I'm gonna try to do that. We have 6 more outs to get 4 runs in this one, stranger things have happened.

Oh, you're totally right. That's what I'm trying to do these days.

 

I figure doom and gloom is either going to happen or it's not. I'd rather now hope for awesomeness than brace for horsefeathers.
