I have this feeling that it isn't serious but that's mostly based on me not being able to figure out what the hell he hurt and the fact that a catch that amazing doesn't warrant a season ending injury

Imagine if we didn't have Fowler right now

If we don't sign Fowler..... Heyward is playing CF so he's not in that spot tonight to get hurt and maybe Heyward and Schwarber don't collide in LCF in Arizona and Schwarbee's knee is saved and we still have both Schwarber and Heyward healthy. Because why do good things happen

CUBS are 16-2 (.889) when they score first in the game.... 12-8 (.600) when they don't

Go CUBS !!

You're missing a loss there, Fred. Cubs are 28-11.

Yeah, I know. I was so mad after yesterday's game, I couldn't bring myself to enter the box score.

He was grimacing in pain immediately and didn't move for awhile. How often do you see an injury that isn't serious resulting in that level of pain?

sprained ankles do exactly that (this obviously isn't a sprained ankle...but you see injuries that aren't that serious cause immediate severe pain that then dissipates all the time)

kicked in the nuts, wind knocked out of you, sometimes a sprained knee looks really bad
