discount pappa johns pizza is more of a punishment than a reward.

also, that one guy hit one off the cubs yesterday, so today is discount day.

In Chicago, out standards for pizza are a little bit high. In most of the country, Papa Johns and Domino's is all they have. How sad is that?

If a town is big enough for a Papa Johns or a Domino's, they have some kind of mom and pop pizza in town that's better. I'm quite familiar with plenty of podunk central Illinois towns and their pizza availability.

Just to be clear, I was talking about the whole region, not just the city of Chicago. I know the rest of IL, WI, MI, IN, and IA all have decent pizza, too.

The majority of the country, though, is pretty remote. If you don't live within a reasonable distance of a metro area, your pizza options are going to be pretty weak.

I like how you guys are so enthusiastic about picking my posts apart, but that's not true, sir.

this game is so much the worst

Um, we're winning. And our starting pitcher did great. And the offense is amazing.

All 100 percent spot on. That said, probably could have reasonably scored a few more runs with some of the situations they were in. But whatever. No biggie.

If you'd stop saying wrong things as though they were facts, there wouldn't be an issue.

There is no way this is true.

What?

Madison, Milwaukee, Detroit, Iowa City, and Gary are certainly cities where you can find a good pizza.
