Yeah, that the thing. I was "meh" when they first re-signed him. But, after the Schwarber thing and with the way he's been hitting... it just seems super clutch.

I was pretty pumped about it. I didn't especially like the idea of Heyward playing center (he can handle it, but he's a plus plus right fielder, especially if you get someone decent in center) Almora or anyone else isn't ready for it, and the second half of his year in 2015 was awesome. And to get him at such a discount was a bonus.
