I'm impressed that Chicago caught the offsides at all. It took way longer for the officials to determine it was offsides than it took for someone on the Hawks to see it. On top of that, the offside really had no impact on how the Blues scored that goal, but hey, rules are rules.

And the Shaw goal wasn't just clean, it was awesome!

I think at that point in the game, you throw out your challenge if it's anywhere close. You have nothing to lose.

Maybe that's what it was. The offside didn't really impact the play. After they got the puck across the blue line, the play went back behind the net before the score happened. But, I'm happy that the Hawks recognized the potential that they were offside and asked for a review.

StLouis can feel like they got screwed, but they didnt. The refs were right on both reviews.

man that was fun. Game 3 will be intense as hell wont it

Both calls were definitely correct but even still their game 1 win was pretty horsefeathering lucky. They have nothing to cry about. They will when the Hawks knock them out of the playoffs but they have 3 more games left before it's fishing season.

for the first time, i fear the blackhawks might actually lose this series.

I think the Hawks are still good. Win game 4 at home and then the winner of game 5 is probably the series winner.

They really need to sit either Svedberg or Rozival for Ehrhof. Not sure if he'll be better but can't be worse.

I don't understand how Svedberg can be so big and so unable to hit anyone. Rozival is just horrible, makes bad decisions and can't handle the puck.

I can't even imagine how bad Ehrhoff would be at this point. The guy looked like a junior player at times in the regular season.

I'd almost rather see Rund DM Swede aka Rundblad than Swedberg. Is Gustafson hurt?
