8-ish games in and this is my favorite cubs team of all time. Imagine if we had one more lights out young pitcher

Wow, that was a dumbass mistake. I really just wanted to make the cocky-ass comment that began the statement. Theyre both losing late, though.

 

Pirates just went final, they lose. Cards down 4-3 in the 8th.

man, I googled Sean Marshall to see if he was active this season and there is nothing out there on him past stories from near the end of '15 with him hoping to pitch again in the future.

Soler hitting sac flies, walking and getting hits still makes me most happy.

Agreed. I just don't see how this team goes through any stretch where everyone's bats go cold like early last season. He's the one who I worry about.
