Why are you drawing your line of "belief" at physical abuse. Why are you willing to believe that he was "mean" but less willing to believe that he hit her?

 

That is an extreme allegation and one I would like to have some evidence behind before I label someone a wife beater. I can not doubt see a young player like Russell holding his money over his SO, or treating to leave her if he didn't get his way along with many of the other things that fall on the other side of MLB's DV policy. I'm not condoning those things or denying he didn't physically abuse here I personally need more to go there.

I don't think she is lying, but that doesn't mean he 100% did everything she claimed. While it still makes you a POS there is a big gap between being a mean BF and putting your hands on someone. How could we know? It's one of those "he said, she said" situations in which he's known to be a monster who made his wife miserable through years of verbal and emotional abuse, and she has no reason to lie about the abuse also being physical. Flip a coin, we just have no idea who could be telling the truth.
