Iowa doesn't play that many games in Las Vegas, Reno, El Paso, Salt Lake or Albuquerque that are where most of the crazy offense in the PCL comes from. The teams they play the most are 16th, 15th, Iowa is 14th and 12th in the 16 team league in OPS, In Russell's time in Iowa he's played 3 games in those hitters parks.

You can keep giving daily updates on his PCL slash lines and we're not going to want him called up. He can get called up and hit 15 HRs in September and we're not going to want him on the playoff roster. He can hit another grand slam in another World Series and we're not going to want the Cubs to sign him in the offseason.

Shitty people are worse than people who support shitty people (though the line is getting increasingly blurry). Also Addison Russell has made more money in his life than probably 99.9% of other 25 year olds, so we can probably stop with the whole 'food on the plate' narrative. If he's that worried about his kids, he can go find a job like everyone else does.
