I really think FIFA should revoke the US's hosting privileges, just hold it all in Canada and Mexico and ban the USMNT from the event. It's not safe for people from other countries to be here anyway, it's a perfectly reasonable position to have right now.

I'm the opposite. Couldn't be any less interested. Didn't care about the Club World Cup when it was in the middle of the season and don't care about it now. I really don't like that they just keep loading up the players with more and more games and I wish a bunch of them would have just said "fuck off and fine me, I'm taking a summer break". The guys who play for top clubs and their national teams basically have no break. They're either in season with their club, playing in a summer tourney for their national team (or now, their club) or doing some preseason tour with their club team to get ready for the next season.

The fact that it's mostly on another streaming service that I'm not going to pay for makes it even easier to ignore.

To each their own of course, and by no means am I telling you to not watch or that you shouldn't be watching. I just have no desire to tune in.

The Club World Cup has been great, and a vast improvement on the previous version.  Also some games are on TBS/TNT and all games are streaming free on DAZN.

Nice to see the USMNT win a game they dominated for 70 minutes and nearly lost anyway due to 3 stupid mistakes.

They move on to face Guatemala, because Canada had an inexcusable red card just prior to half.
