Fellaini just lost his mind.

Picked up a yellow for dragging Aguero down to stop a counter attack. Literally 15 seconds later, he does it again. Before the ref has a chance to pull out the second yellow, he headbutts Aguero (one of those where the players are going to be face to face but Fellaini made a motion towards Aguero's head and Aguero sold it) and gets a straight red.

Needless to say, it wasn't the best 30 seconds for him.

Good draw for Liverpool.

Another good result for US Youth soccer last night as the U17s defeated Mexico in the CONCACAF championships group stage (they were behind Costa Rica and Mexico in the ranking so didn't get seeded), which is a huge step towards qualifying for the U17 world cup.

Thought this was funny.

The fact of the matter is that in the past 20 years, every single Bayern manager not named Jurgen Klinsmann has led the club to a German title.

Most annoying part of the Tottenham loss is the "look they choked again" and "they haven't learned from 2016" stories. Did people really think they'd win 13 straight games? Of course they were going to lose one of these because that's how soccer goes sometimes. The only reason this was someone of a title race was the had picked up 50 of 57 points since losing at Man U on Dec 11. And it's also only one game. If they go out and beat Man U next weekend, will they all of a sudden have learned from 2016?

Feyenoord need a win in the last game of the season (after last week's loss) to clinch the title in The Netherlands.

Kuyt scores after 40 seconds and the stadium goes nuts.

U-20 hypebeast, Josh Sargent, signed with Bremen. That's a smart move for him. Bigger clubs would have called but this is a manageable transition.

At two different age levels. U-17 & U-20.

Remember Marco4? He hasn't visited since 2014 but he's a Huddersfield Town supporter and they just got promoted to the EPL. First time in the top flight since 1970-72.

So congrats to Huddersfield and to Marco. I always like it when a team that hasn't been to the top flight in a long time (if ever) makes it rather than cycling through the same few retreads.

Great oral history piece on the last day of the 2012 Premier League season from Grant Wahl

Still one of the best and craziest endings I've seen in sports. Plus the only time I've heard Martin Tyler lose his horsefeathers while announcing.

I can't believe its already been 5 years. The Paul Merson reaction was one of my favorites, would have loved to have seen a camera on Tyler too.

I've had a ton of fun watching the U-20s. It's really made me optimistic about '22 and '26.

I really like the back line and it gives me hope to not see Zusi's name on the roster in 5+ years.

Or maybe not. Looks like bigger sharks are circling.

This is a fun U-23 fantasy draft: https://theringer.com/soccer-draft-mbappe-alli-young-players-4987c876fd62

Admittedly, I know nothing about the U-20 teams and the strength of the rosters.

That being said, seeing Zambia beat Germany is just weird.

I wonder if there's a roster re-shuffling period or contingency where you can call new guys into camp, like the Gold Cup? Probably not. Would be cool to get Pulisic in if they get to the semi's.

I feel like this might be one of the bigger and more athletic youth teams we have fielded in a while. Lot of size and speed when it's usually one or the other.
