Like that trade a lot for OKC, Ibaka kinda, sorta stinks these days. Good way to add 3 rotational and maybe starting piece (Oladipo) if Durant stays and a decent way to try and replace him and still have some guys to go at it with Russ.

The NBA is a superstar driven league. Fans will have interest in the NBA because even though their home team has no shot to ever win a title, they do a great job of building superstar narratives that draw in fans.

 

It's not ideal but they NBA doesn't really hurt because of it. In fact everyone is getting paid with the new insane TV deal.

These super teams don't often go THAT well. Everyone thought Miami would win every year and the Lakers bombed. Golden State will be good but I doubt they win even 70. Durant will get his ring though. Durant kinda deserves the hate LeBron got though aside from not doing the decision thing.
