Yeah, I have no idea what to do. We have three guys that might be terrible or maybe they are actually good in Soler, Javy and Starlin. And we basically have two open spots to fill them in. Someone's probably got to go. But, I don't know who.

Schwarber being able to catch even just 50-70 games either helps clear things or clogs things up (if he can't) even more as well

Haha... yep.

Castro's gonna get donged in by Baez. Book it.

Never booking anything from you

Don't care.

Hahahahah! Love angry Molina. Leave September Lester in; he's cruising.

Do they, though? Between LF/RF/SS/2B/3B there are 3,000 PAs. Add 200 PAs at C for Schwarbs for a total of 3,200 and you break it down this way:

Bryant 600, Russell 600, Schwarber 600 (inc. 200 at C/DH), Soler 400, Javy 400, Castro 400, Coghlan 200. I'm still not sold on Coghlan being the real deal. If he is, it becomes a big time crowd. Not to mention LaStella who I guess has some value. However, has Soler been able to stay healthy? What about Baez? Unless there is major clubhouse drama, it might be worth the risk to keep everyone around next year (sorry Jonathan Herrera).

nice starlin

it's kind of funny watching him flinch adorably on inside pitches now that he's standing more on top of the plate

So let's say that is what it took to effectively fix him and he finished out the year looking good. Do they trade him in the offseason?

I say no, not yet. Plenty of abs to go around and questions to get sorted between Bryant, Castro, Baez and Rusell on the IF and OF (in Bryant's) case. Keep the depth

Yeah, plus I'd like to gamble on him actually being fixed and then they could get more if they opt to trade him late in the season. Yeah, it's a risk, but hey, that's some sexy depth.

Yup with the ability of Bryant, Russell, Baez and Castro to all play multiple positions. Questions on Soler, Schwarbers ultimate spot (hopefully he can catch 50-70 games next year), and Coghlan getting older/maybe not replicating this there's little reason to move anyone unless the value is too good to pass up in a trade. I mean Bryant and Russell should play almost every day and even with that Baez/Castro can each get 400 abs

This, nicely summarized and put better than what I was trying to say. Plus with being so young there is a lot of value in being deep with getting guys extra rest or more days of to try and work through a growing pain(s). Add in Joe's ability/willingness to not give a [expletive] about having guys stick to a spot and move them around I don't see a real problem.

Awesome breakdown. Thanks.
