I'm just surprised that the Cubs org is so against using Wada again. He was definitely better than what Hendricks and Haren have been lately.

He can't stay healthy and he's been quite average to bad in AAA. He's not definitely better than Hendricks and he's probably as effective as Haren and probably would have had the #5 starter job over him if he could show he can stay healthy/effective for longer than a few starts.

it looked like tomlinson had an enormous lead and was pretty much off and running before the batter even swung. something to keep in mind for later in the game, because that's an easy pickoff at first base if the batter swings and misses.
