The Braves starter has a boring name and is very good. On the bright side he is no longer a Cardinal. On the sad side, that means he probably will live to have a full career of being good.

 

The Cubs are on game 2 of what is hopefully an 80 game win streak.

on a side note, this is the 7th game i've been this year and outside of opening night, each one has been pitched by hammel and hendricks... so of course i was excited to see that arrieta was slotted to pitch today but then was swapped with hendricks.

Yes, the concern was whether Wada was going to only be able to go 5 innings and tax your bullpen when Haren has averaged between 6-7 IP per start this year (pre cubs)

 

But throw that all out the window because the 3 of them are only pitching 4-5 innings quite often
