It really is amazing that this was an extremely winnable game even after being down 7-0. Says a lot about this team.

That said, definitely need to take 3 from Atlanta.

This was never an extremely winnable game after getting down 7-0. They haven't been within 3.

Baseball is amazing. Win all those games and then look like complete [expletive] for three in a row.

To be fair Chris Sale makes lots of teams look like crap. But this tigers series reminds me of July cubs

They've had the tying run up or on deck in 3 different innings. Theyve been consistently in range just missing a clutch hit and bullpen is giving runs back

1. It was 8-5

2. Rizzo and Soler were up as the tying run and both popped out.

3. Killer DPs by Russell and Soler to shut down rallies.

It was winnable. Tigers bats are just too good to keep down and no clutch hitting tonight.

If Lester has even just a mediocre outing instead of an inexcusably atrocious one, we'd be up by a run or two.

I'm back fellas. Been watching the whole time. If the tigers consistently hit like this they would be right up there with the royals, no? Especially before dealing price and cespedes. They just always seem to smack the [expletive] outta the ball. At least against us..

The only thing I feel bad about these last two games is that we're hitting well and getting runs and they're going to waste because the pitching staff is going through a bad spell

I'm just going to tell myself that this is just like any other three-game losing streak. Not like our offense was shut down at almost historic proportions in one of the games or that our pitching staff was blown to pieces for the other two games.
