Maddon doesn't get bullpen management.

 

Down by 3 in the 8th inning is low leverage. This might have been Jaxon if he were still on the team.

So assuming no comeback, the Cubs will be 6-9 in a 15 game stretch against the White Sox, Braves, Reds, Phillies, and Rockies. And they could easily be 3-12 in those games without comebacks

2. Soriano DFA

3. Castro traded

4. Baez up

5. Teagarden down/Olt or Lake up

 

I wouldnt be that shocked if a few of those things happened

That Rowen guy has been good in Iowa.

 

Oh yeah, and I forgot about Buchter. And Rosscup is healthy now. No reason for Soriano to have a job.

I don't think anyone would hug him even if he was traded.
