David Ross hits .150 against LHP.. Hit .228 against lefties last year.. On what planet is that even OK?

David Ross has 15(16 now) plate appearances against LHP this year, we can comfortably ignore that. Last year he hit .228/.318/.491 against them and has a career OPS against LHP of about .750. This is far better than what we can expect from Coghlan, even more so when the pitcher himself has a huge platoon split.

ok fine then don't give him 5x more PA against RHP than LHP. Stop this silly personal catcher crap against RHP.

Sample size means nothing when you have aging regressing player. COGHLAN has a small sample size too!

Coghlan vs. LHP

This year Coghlan is waaaay under his previous levels in the past 3 seasons but ross is not AS under..... PLUS coghlan has pop.

Coghlan's defense may have very well been a large factor in the loss. I feel most LF make the play on Brantley's double in the first and that horrible throw on Gomes...

Montero's defense wasn't especially helpful tonight either.

I didn't get to watch too much of the game, but I happened to be watching during both of the Coghlan plays, so I have no idea what you're talking about.

Yeah nobody will care about the Schwarber demotion in a year if the Cubs win. Also I think even the dumbest Cubs fans can sit here and see what Theo is doing.

Ever been to Twitter following a loss?

@LenKasper: STOP comparing Schwarber to David Ross. Ross plays 1-2x a week. That's NOT what Kyle Schwarber is. He plays every day. Do you get this?

Look over some of these replies and tell me if you still agree with that sentiment on the dumbest of Cubs fans?

Montero had a passed ball that brought in the Indians' second run. Since Hammel struck out the next 3 batters, the run was unearned.

Reading through this thread, it just reminds me that the Cubs being good brings all the stupid back around.
