Do we lead the league in errors? It sure seems like it at least.

Without question they lead the league in hits allowed to the opposing pitcher, and have for several years.

Wait, you actually looked this up?

does that sound like an actual fact to you or just some aramis fan horse [expletive]?

The latter, obviously, but I wanted to call him out on it.

unfortunately it doesn't seem like there's an easy way to look it up - there's just looking up pitching versus the #9 hitter in the order, which obviously will sometimes be a pinch hitter.

that being said, here's how the cub pitchers have ranked against the #9 hitter:

2010: 5th most hits allowed (97) out of 16 NL teams

2011: 8th most hits allowed (95) out of 16 NL teams

2012: 11th most hits allowed (83) out of 16 NL teams

2013: 5th most hits allowed (99) out of 15 NL teams

2014: 14th most hits allowed (73) out of 15 NL teams

2015: tied 5th most hits allowed (31) out of 15 NL teams

so either the cubs are allowing an inordinately low number of hits to pinch hitters and #9 hitters in american league ballparks, and have been doing so for "several years", or aramis fan is posting out his ass. again.

Nicely done, sir.

Wait, why are all of the meatballs acting like Castro ruined that inning? He got the guy over to 3B with 2 outs left, but he's the villain? You oafs are sad.

3-0 count and I'm pretty [expletive] sure Castro won't walk

He, like, just did a few innings ago and the pitcher threw him 2 strikes after going 3-0 this last AB.

Oh my. Just watched the video of his "single" in his first AB. That's an interesting scoring decision.
