Do we lead the league in errors? It sure seems like it at least.

Without question they lead the league in hits allowed to the opposing pitcher, and have for several years.

Wait, you actually looked this up?

does that sound like an actual fact to you or just some aramis fan horse [expletive]?

The latter, obviously, but I wanted to call him out on it.

Not sure where I'd look it up, but I am almost 100% sure it is true.

I'll take the blame for that one. I had the thought after the 2nd out that "Hey, I guess the Cubs aren't the only teams who blow bases loaded nobody out chances".

Score more than 2 runs off of Brett Hand and this isn't an issue. Offense is a major weakpoint right now.

Wait, what? The Marlins have scored 4 runs; you're talking like the Cubs' offense have somehow failed expectations because they didn't score at least 5 runs in 5 innings off of the other pitcher? How the hell much do you think they're "supposed" to score off of Hand?

Closest I could find but the Cubs gave up the second fewest hits to the No. 9 spot in the order last year.

Seeing as the Dodgers gave up 37 more hits to the No. 9 spot than us, I'm guessing that's not all just PHers and interleague play.
