You gotta admit, we [expletive] deserved that one.

Man... Uncanny replay of the 10th inning, right up to the final play - and then that? I would have had Sczur taking 3-1 there myself, but I guess all's well that ends well. But boy - what a weird ending.

MLB Network had the Pirates announcers. Watching them freak out after the trip was hilarious.

BTW, ball 2 to Matt looked like it was right down the middle on Gamecast. Was it that way live?

no, all of the balls in his at bat were pretty solidly outside the strike zone.

he's really going to have to do better on pitches like the ones he popped to right, if he wants to avoid the shuttle to iowa.

Yeah he effed up pretty bad on those two ABs. GWRBI in the box score though.

I can't wait to see the highlight. Sounded ridiculous on the radio.

that inning was so bizarre. it was like there was a glitch in the matrix and somebody made polanco fall so it wouldn't keep repeating over and over.

by the way, if polanco had caught that ball and castro hadn't tried to score, who would've been the batter? i guess jaxon would've had to hit for himself?

Ross probably and then Coke pitching til his arm falls off.

Ross was still available, although that would have left Coke as the only remaining pitcher and I don't think he was warming, so my guess is Jackson would have hit.
