Seriously is Alcantara dead in a ditch somewhere?

I [expletive] love Montero.

more like he's connecting on like half his swings and looks completely lost.

i'm not saying i'm giving up on him or anything but i'm not sure we're any better off with him in the lineup right now.

Yeah he looks horrible, he definitely should be in Iowa but our injuries and lack of MIF depth have left us with little choice but to have him on the roster.

Like I said, if he's not going to get AB's, send him down and call up Valaika.

I don't think there's anybody else on the roster that can play even a remotely ok CF right now either.

Denorfia?

Yeah, I think he's adequate enough to fake it there in the event of an in game injury, extra inning game with a sub, maybe start a game or 2, or whatever. Ideally it would be nice to send Alctantara down for Russell and cut Ross (I know) or send down one of the pitchers when Szczur is able to come off the DL.

My amateur radar-in-motion reading shows that system heading out to the northeast.

There might be some light rain in spots, but I don't think the field is going to get too wet and the game should be able to start relatively early.
