I think people forget how good Glaus was (though I would've liked it better if you had put Giancarlo for his high end)

BTW are you saying Glaus's actual numbers or Glaus's performance relative to the league?

numbers relative to league; Troy had a 124 OPS+ ages 22-31, with years of 138 and 150 thrown in there

150 OPS+ is 2014 Edwin Encarnacion offense- as a decent 3B, that's an MVP winner

138 OPS+ is 2014 Nelson Cruz...

also, he averaged 3.9 bWAR (133 G) during that time and 4.9 bWAR per 650 PA

I didn't realize how much Bay sucked on D

Pat Burrell, too

it's hard to identify a perfect comp, but Bay used the whole field while Burrell was mostly dead-pull so i went with him; Bryant's OF defense is a bit of an unknown anyway

That reminds me, saw this today:

Comment From Cubbie

What have you been most impressed about with Bryant’s development? Did you expect him to struggle more than he has thus far? I remember hearing many concerns about how long his swing was coming out and there is still the concern about contract rate.

Kiley McDaniel: I thought there’s be more contact struggles, but he was 1 or 2 in that draft for almost everyone, so being really good isn’t a massive surprise. One team told me that if they drafted him, he’d still be playing CF for them now. He’s that athletic.

Schwarber stays behind the dish and continues to dominate. By the end of the year he will be a top 10 prospect. By the end of his career he will be a HOF catcher. I am all in on Kyle "people piss me off" Schwarber.

Should probably try to get in as many as we can before the site goes dark again.

Ouch
