Yeah I am not shocked that famous/rich people have fall guys. I guess it just seems a little wrong that this is the message from an NFL sanctioned event... and that they even said "we'll bail him out."

Ray Lewis got away with murder and now he's gets to be on TV every week doing "analysis".

Completely expect rodgers to turn some no name into a superstar. He's that good. Nothing to see here.

Rodgers right wrist/forearm is heavily taped/wrapped up as well and their first round pick, Randall, just left the field on a cart according to their beat reporter Edited by Cubswin11

Interesting read on Chris Borland and his decision to retire.

Lots of talk about head injuries (and also other injuries he and a teammate played with at Wisconsin), but this was also interesting:

SHORTLY AFTER HE was drafted by the 49ers in the third round last year, Borland attended the annual rookie orientation put on by the NFL. The league tries to prepare young players for what to expect on and off the field, and it brought in two prominent retired players to give the rookies advice.

"Get yourself a fall guy," Borland says one of the former players advised. The former player, whom Borland declined to name, told the rookies that if they ran into legal trouble, their designated
fall guy would be there to take the blame and, if necessary, go to jail. "'We'll bail him out,'" Borland says the former player assured them.

Borland was appalled. "I was just sitting there thinking, 'Should I walk out? What am I supposed to do?' " he recalls. He says he didn't leave the room because he didn't want to cause a scene, but the incident stayed with him.

Also, of course the top two comments refer to him as a [expletive].

it was cris carter, and there's video of it. it's not surprising at all that it happens, but it's crazy that this is talked about so openly in a video that was on nfl.com

Cobb is very good and Adams looked already had breakout potential. They sadly won't miss a beat.

Problem is neither of those guys can afford to miss any time, otherwise, the WR group is really sketchy behind them.

I honestly feel like you could give Aaron Rodgers Earl Bennett and Devin Aromashodu and he'd still be an all pro.

I texted my friend who is a huge Patriots fan and his reply was "Patriots Nation. All we do is win!"

Are they obnoxious on purpose or do they not even realize it?

My cousin's husband is from there, and is the same damn way.
