I would just be totally shocked if this squad made the ECF. Yet another night getting outplayed and out hustled by a terrible team. Kobeless Lakers shooting 58.7% at half.

And? This team is just as likely to get wiped out in round 1 by a team like Detroit as it is to beat a team like Cleveland.

And? This team is just as likely to get wiped out in round 1 by a team like Detroit as it is to beat a team like Cleveland.

It's a long season and they are capable of beating the best when focused and rested. Tonight looks like a team coasting/tired on the road playing against a crappy team that will turn it on if they have to in the 4th to pull away. Also they know they are at Phoenix tomorrow, knowing how bad the Lakers are I'm not sure they came into this thing completely focused/interested in playing their hardest.

I bet this guy also bitched the past few years when we went balls out every single game to collect as many wins as possible. The fact that Derricks knees haven't exploded and the Bulls have shown an ability to play with, and beat, the best teams in the league should be enough to give you some confidence in this teams chances of playoff success. Enough, at least, to not be "totally shocked" at winning 2 playoff series in the eastern conference.

Maybe. But the fact that they are consistently beating good teams but losing to bad teams tell me they are probably pretty good. It's not like the good teams are taking the Bulls lightly.

3 out of 4 with wins over the Spurs, Mavs, and Warriors are just as useful at predicting playoff success as that random 15 game stretch you decided to pick out in January.

We are a 50ish win team in a [expletive] conference. Maybe we turn the corner when Dunleavy comes back from what is apparently the worst ankle sprain of all time but we are clearly a cut below a legit title contender.

Someone convince me we're not a better team with random jerkoff PG rather than DRose.

We're not, in a vacuum, but we're a better team with the $19 million the Bulls are paying Rose available to spend on alternatives.

Flash back to December 28. The Bulls have won 9 of their last 10 games and have a 24 point lead on Indiana in the second half. The Bulls completely collapse in the 4th and actually trail by 3 late in the game before coming back and winning by 1.

 

Since that game the Bulls have gone 8-10. What the hell happened between the 3rd and 4th quarter of that game?
