Looks like the SCF would start on Wednesday night with game 2 on Saturday after the Belmont Stakes. If the Hawks can win this Saturday thats a lot of rest for the weary Hawks blue liners.

And in case anyone is curious, the Hawks would start on the road regardless of who wins on Friday between TB/NYR. If the Ducks win, who the hell cares?

That's cool, would be nice to win the Cup in a home Game 6 for once.

And yes, I know, 24 hours ago we were discussing next year's roster and now we're discussing the Finals. Suck it.

Sure would have been nice to have ended the series last night. I will not be able to watch the game on Saturday. No tv's and no wifi where I'm at.

Finish them!

If you have the NBC Sports Live Extra app and pay for cable, you can stream the game on any device with cellular connection.

I might have to try that. At least for the final period.

I believe Bruce Buedreau is 0-6 in game 7's. I know the Ducks have blown 3-2 series leads the last two years with game 7's at home. The pressure is all on the Ducks. The key to Saturday is to jump on them early.

Or win the Cup at home in game 4.

I think the Ducks can only sustain that forecheck for a period and a half before they wear down. We should expect things to be tight for the first 30 minutes or so and for Craw to have to make more saves in the 1st period. You could see the Ducks back that off in the third and the stretch passes became more available. Downside of course if that there will be turnovers.

Boudreau's game 7 record is 1-5 in his coaching career, 0-2 as coach of the ducks (6 total, all on home ice).

Here's hoping the Hawks can jump out quick and destroy them like the kings did last year.

I will be at a resort in Cancun for games 6 and 7; anyone know anything about international broadcasts or resort television lineups? A sweep would be ideal.

Since all but two of the games will be on NBC the resort should have the game on. I would venture to guess a lot of Chicago and Canadian people will be there and want to watch.

Lightning to the Cup Finals, after the Rangers are unable to manage a single shot on goal in the last 7 minutes of the game.

Good luck tomorrow, gents. We'll be waiting.

We'll probably lose in 6 regardless of who comes out of the West, but the Hawks would be much more exciting IMO.

3 teams left, and one of them is the Blackhawks, for the fifth time in seven years. By contrast, the Cubs have not been one of the last 3 standing since 1984.

Win or lose tonight (and I would strongly prefer win), it's been another great year for a great team.
