I'm not particularly convinced the 2011 or '12 teams were any worse than the 2010 team. The 2012-13 team was pretty darn special, but that was the confluence of Saad on the way up and Hossa and Sharp still nearly at the top of their games.

 

Wait what? I don't feel like doing a piece by piece breakdown so I could be wrong but I remember watching Ladd and Byfuglien then watching Stalberg and John Scott try to replace them. Guys like Pirri, Skille, Frolik, Campoli and Morin would have had no place on a blackhawks line in 2010. The 2011 team was better...after losing Campbell and Brower they started to get the pieces of the next Cup team on board like Leddy, Oduya, Saad, Shaw, etc
