Yes good point. Since people say I like to point out bad Chicago nights I will point out that this is an especially good one.

Was at the game. Stub Hub didn't let us down. There were a decent amount of Hawks fans there for a Wednesday night. I imagine Friday is a lot more. Overall, a great experience and rubbing it in to Nashville fans was fun after they were relentless when they were up 3-0. Their franchises' two most famous games involve blowing playoff leads to us, LOL.

I feel like I'm almost taking it for granted how the Hawks do in the playoffs. There are so many franchises in the league that would kill to see their team come back from a 3-0 deficit on the road in a playoff game. And while we are all excited about the win, it probably won't be in the top 5 or maybe even 10 playoff wins for this core of Blackhawks. I'm gonna try to enjoy it since we are looking to take a step back next year. It might be a couple of years before we reach this awesomeness again.

12-4 in playoff series in the last six years.

Listening to Q speak, I think Darling will get the start on Friday. Crawford wasn't terrible, it was more the team coming out flat, but Darling was outstanding in relief. If Darling looks bad he can just go back to Crawford in Chicago with at worst a split going into game 3.

I disagree. Q said the decision would be easy. I think that means it's Crawford.

Did they really try to prevent you from getting in, where you had to call Stub Hub?

You can take that both ways. Easy meaning you go with your veteran starter or easy meaning you go with the guy that stood on his head and pitched a nearly 4 period shutout in his first playoff appearance.

You mean listening to him last night, or has he spoken yet today?

My expectation is the "easy decision" is going back to Crawford and keeping Darling in reserve.

I don't see how going with your inexperienced backup who had one incredible non-starting performance over the starter you pay major money to and has won a Stanley Cup for your team in the past is "easy".

Last night.

I guess it could go either way, but whatever he chooses won't be a bad decision.

Yeah, going with Darling is effectively creating a goalie controversy and opening yourself up to needing to trade Crawford this offseason. It's not the least bit easy.

Chalking up this game to one bad period by Crawford and no big deal is the easy decision.

Easy undoubtedly means Crawford. They aren't insulting their starter by saying it is "easy" to dump him after one bad period.

Not necessarily, Q was calling Darling's relief appearance "one for the ages"

But I agree, if I were Q I would go back to Crow.

OK I just watched another replay of the first Nashville goal, can anyone give any justifcation as to what Rozival was doing on that play? Wilson is coming up along the boards, Rozival backskating but plenty ahead of him (photo 1), Keith is parallel to Wilson but closer to the center of the ice.

The somehow inexplicably, Rozival slows down cuts to the inside AWAY from Wilson, and actually sets a pick on Keith, slowing him down as well. (photo 2)

The result is by the time Rozival turns around, Wilson is ahead of him, and Keith is trailing well behind and basically a non factor in the play (photo 3)

He is still kept to the outside so its not the idea angle for a shot, but its a good shot attempt that never should have happened and as a result goes in for a goal.

One of the strangest plays I've seen.
