Btw Brian, with the way ticket prices on stubhub skyrocketed overnight, you'd be stupid not to sell your seats and buy 2 SRO tickets. You will probably have enough left over to pay for a decent chunk of your wedding and still get to be in the building of the Hawks win. If they lose, you still made money.

If you don't sell and the Hawks lose you will feel like [expletive]

Also just realized the Cubs game will be ending roughly at the same time was the Hawks game. This city is going to be a mess if they win

i think keith would definitely win it, barring a hat trick by toews or something.

Yeah, Keith is an easy choice, IMO. He's playing basically 2/3 of the minutes every night, he's 1 point behind Toews and Kane for the playoff points lead. He's also +15. There's nobody who deserves it more, hat trick be damned.

This team is so incredibly fun to watch. I was at a bar in Vegas during Game 4 and the place was going INSANE for the Hawks when Saad scored. Then, it was a free-for-all in the last minute sequence where Crawford said [expletive] you to the Lightning.

How about more props for Crawford? That man has been incredible since the Nashville series.

I give it to Toews again. Jerkass voters won't ever give him the Hart so he might as well get as many Conn-Smythes as he can.

Not sure how many Yzerman won, but Toews is establishing himself as an easy HOFer.

If he retired today I think he's in the HOF.

I think you're right. Toews does so many things so well. A classic play for me was in Game 3 when Keith was chasing a puck and here comes Toews going full speed and zips right by him to get the puck. The guy is a great skater. This is a great team to watch and I see our Cubs developing the same 'team' personality. Almost every Hawk has contributed big time.

FYI-The really cool Blackhawks grey hoodies the players wear during interviews are called 'media hoodies', Available only at the new Blackhawk store on North Michigan. Went to Wrigleyville Sports first but they don't carry them.

It's sort of like the years where they didn't give the MVP to Jordan because everyone knew he was the best player so he didn't need the award or some such nonsense.

2010 Toews won when perhaps Kane should have

2013 Kane won when Crawford should have

2015 it should be Duncan Keith so maybe they give it to Crawford. I doubt it though since the media refuse to give him any credit. It wouldn't surprise me if they gave it to Hedman win or lose because East Coast Bias.

I think the reason Corey won't win it is because he got benched in the first round.

Keith has had a bit of a down series but is a good choice but not an obvious one anymore. Toews would probably be my choice as he's been clutch all playoffs and even when not scoring is still playing lockdown D.

The craziest one would be Crawford...an awful 1st round but has been pretty damn good the rest of the playoffs and has stole several critical games.

While the award is for the whole playoffs, the finals count for a lot more because the writers that vote aren't watching every playoff series.

The idea that Keith is having a "down series" is woefully inaccurate. He hasn't shown up on the score sheet but he's been the most important player on the ice for the Hawks. The Hawks could probably win without Kane and they might be able to win without Toews. There's no way they could win without Keith.

If was so lucky to have tickets, I'd sell them and just watch at home or at a sports bar; although, not for the reason you said. The prices are just too good to pass up.

If they were Cubs tickets to a World Series game I could see refusing to sell them. The Hawks won the Cup 2 years ago. They will still be a pretty good team for at least another 5 years. Plus there's no guarantee they even win.

When the Hawks took a 2-1 lead I put my pair up for $3400. 300 level row 6. 30 seconds after the game, stubhub sent me an email saying they sold. Looks like prices have dropped as now someone is selling a row in front of me for $3100 for a pair. I am going to buy 1 SRO ticket today about 3pm. SRO is now down to $800 I imagine it might drop a bit as the day goes by. I need to be at the UC by 5pm so I can try to get center ice.

Yep that was my thinking as well. If this were the Cubs, i don't think I could part with them. If I get a SRO ticket I still get in the game tonight and I make 2K.

FWIW, Yahoo doesn't even list Crawford in the top 10, or among the "in the hunt" group.

Chris Kuc was on the score just now. He said he gets a vote, its 6 local media(Chi,Tb) and 6 national. He said most of the national guys probably only watch from the Conf Finals forward. In 2013 Kuc and the rest of the local media voted Crawford, but all of the national media voted Kane. This year he said he will go with Keith but he has no idea what the national media will do since Keith has not been on the score sheet much this round.

I have no problem with Keith or Crow. I know Crow got pulled in the first round, but he got hosed in 2013 and has been fantastic the last few series.

That's a pretty good approach.

No go on the tickets. SRO is up over $1100 now. No thanks. Just watch at home with several beers and hopefully watch a celebration on home ice.
