Week 6: Bears (2-3) @ Falcons (2-3) 3:25 PM FOX/780

I do think the Bears have a chance at one of their surprise wins (like the 49ers game). The ones that get you upset that they blew the Buffalo and Carolina games because then they'd have a reasonable chance at the playoffs.

@BradBiggs

#Bears promote LB DeDe Lattimore from practice squad to 53 man roster and waive injured C Taylor Boggs. Maybe a sign Bostic is out.

Sure, but they clearly don't have a reasonable chance IN the playoffs, so that regret dies quickly.

football playoffs are pretty crapshooty too and they have the type of offensive talent that can take over games

In theory.

In practice, not so much. We've basically seen it once so far this season.

Eh, I'm inclined to believe that the awesomeness will return once Marshall and Jeffery are healthy.

This game may end the season of the loser. Loser is 2-4 and 13th in the NFC. Winner could have a share of their division lead.

Oh and DJ Williams was downgraded to Questionable last night, so we could see the vaunted Jones, Sharpton, Greene LB group, which probably doesn't matter that much as the Bears will probably be in nickel 80% of the time today. But it would be nice to have one person that knows what he is doing out there at LB.

So our 4 best LBs might be out to go along with a starting CB (yeah Tillman is out for the year but goes along wth this "woe is me post"). But our DT is coming back after missing a month with a concussion, our starting DE is back after recently losing 20 pounds from pneumonia, ad our starting S who hasn't finished a game all year it seems, is playing despite multiple concussions this year including one last week and separated shoulders weekly.

On offense only our starting LT is out and we just got back 2 others on the line who missed multiple weeks with injuries. Also both starting WRs have been hurt, with Marshall recently revealing he's hobbling around on an injured ankle that should have kept him out at least 4 weeks. Oh and our projected 3rd WR is out for several more weeks after a freak injury at the beginning of the preseason.

Oh and our best coverage guy on a terrible special teams has missed significant time as well.

What a season so far.

When the inactives list is 7 players long and 6 of them are starters every week and you have 3-4 players on the active roster who are emergency adds on the Friday before game day, that's not good.

Yeah I'm not smiling. Glad DJ is having a good day I guess.

don't be such a [expletive] meatball

Offense better figure its [expletive] out then.

i think the offense is going to be great today

i'm just not sure which defense is going to allow more points. and i honestly wouldn't feel much different in that regard if briggs and dj were playing.

A fan informed Jay Cutler's radio show on Monday that he plays better when clean shaven. Cutty said he'd shave today, and he looks clean now

We will move the ball between the 20s and turn it over or bog down in the red zone.

Expecting this offense to engineer long TD drives is foolish. Need big plays.

I feel like it. I'm too angry about this whole thing right now.
