Most important game of the Bo era imo. My Huskers need to dominate MSU at the point of attack and not turn over the damn ball to have a chance against a very solid Sparty team. GBR

TCU is ranked, but I have no idea what they've done, why they're good, or who plays for them.

Same can be said for the entire DFW metroplex.

Zero clue to anything about them, haen't heard of any more drug arrests so I guess thats a good thing.

While Ole Miss has been great and I'd love to see them beat Bama, it's only Bama -6.5. That seems shockingly low for Bama off a bye week with an offense that absolutely torched Florida.

Florida is 85th in total defense. Ole Miss is 4th. The Rebs have only given up 34 points through 4 games, with 19 of those 34 points coming in 4th quarter junk time with the starters out. Memphis put up 469 total yards at UCLA and yet only got 104 yards total yards at Ole Miss (42 of which were on a single play).

Ole Miss' defense is ferocious this year. However, I still think Bama wins because Ole Miss just doesn't beat Bama ever.

Bama -6.5 strikes me as free money. I would love to see Ole Miss stun Bama, but I just haven't seen anything from them that leads me to believe that's possible. This game strikes me as similar to the 2012 game where Bama played Miss State, who hadn't really done anything of note but had somehow risen to #12, and Bama smacked them around. I expect something similar here.

I am secretely hoping Cody Prewitt stops being so good so the Bears can take him with their (hopefully late) 2nd round pick in the 2015 draft.

Free money? That's a bit much. What has Bama shown you to think they are all-world this year? They duked it out with West Virginia (80th in defense) and beat a hapless Florida team (85th in defense).

Bama (26th SOS so far) has outscored their opponents 168-56 and Ole Miss (35th SOS so far) is at 156-34.

Neither have played anyone and they are both currently beating the dogpiss out of whoever they play. History will always point to Bama winning the contest, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that a touchdown difference is easy money. It'll be close. The Ole Miss defense is really, really good.

Only a fool would bet on any SEC West game at this point in this season. There is a lot of parity.

He is a stud. Despite all his interceptions, he still can't catch for isht. He seems to drop two picks a game for every one that he successfully picks off. He is a ball hawk though and will knock dudes right out of their shoes. He's an excellent character guy as well.

Arguably the best two draft-eligible safeties will be playing in this game.

No argument from me.

Tennessee should beat Florida this week. It was a game I marked before the season as a possible upset, but now I believe we should win. If we don't win this year, I'm not sure we ever will.

Florida's D-Line will give us problems I'm sure, but Worley is starting to come into his own and I think he'll be able to handle the pressure at least decently. Von Pearson being healthy enough to play would help matters immensely, even if he's only active as a decoy. If the UF offense tops 200-250 total yards, I'll be pretty upset. That offense is pathetic.

Chances are very high that the team that hits 20 points wins this game.

Really goes to show how much things in the SEC has changed that this is the 4th most important SEC game this week. As suspected this will be the first time in the last 20 years neither is ranked. Look how a once mighty game has precipitously fallen:

UF - TENN

1994: #1 - #15

1995: #4 - #8

1996: #4 - #2

1997: #3 - #4

1998: #2 - #6

1999: #4 - #2

2000: #6 - #11

2001: #2 - #5

2002: #10 - #4

2003: #17 - #12

2004: #11 - #13

2005: #6 - #5

2006: #7 - #13

2007: #5 - #22

2008: #4 - NR

2009: #1 - NR

2010: #10 - NR

2011: #16 - NR

For reference 2009 was the lane Kiffen year.

I'll always remember that was his year because in our game against Tennessee Dexter McCluster had 282 rushing yards and the camera kept cutting to a bewildered Kiffin standing there.
